HCA Distance Learning: Week 7

First Place Winner: Andriah G., grade 10
(your prize will be waiting for you at school this Friday)

Welcome to the last week of school! It has been an interesting end to the school year, to say the least! I have loved seeing all of the creativity and amazing art pieces - thank you to all of the kids who have sent photos of their work. You made my day every single time! Please keep creating over the summer - it is one of the best things you can do and you don't need fancy art supplies to do it! You are welcome to send photos of your artwork via email: I would love to see what you are creating over the summer!

I can't wait to see all of my students again and I am so excited about setting up the new art classroom over at the Grace Life campus! I will be at the "old" SMCC campus on Friday morning helping from 9-10:30 a.m. during the first phase of student "drop-off" and "pick-up." I hope to see you there!

This week, we are showcasing independent artwork from the students. They sent me photos of their drawings, paintings, paint-pours, sculptures, mixed media art, and even a glass design from Madison M.! Each one of these is fabulous, just like the student who made it. Great job, kids!
