Hi! 

Welcome to a brand new year at Heritage Christian Academy! I am so excited to join the fabulous faculty and staff of the former Shades Mountain Christian School. It has been my dream for many years to have the opportunity to teach in a Christian school, where I have the freedom to pray with and for my students and I get to teach them about Who God is! 

Previously, I taught art for 13 years at Hueytown Middle School, Art Camps at the Birmingham Museum of Art, and I was the "Before School Care" teacher at Kingwood Christian School in 1998 and 1999. I attended the University of Montevallo, earning both a bachelor's degree in the fine arts (concentrating in ceramics) as well as a master's degree in education. I am looking forward to teaching every grade level this year!
