Harris, Rebekah, Houston, and Julia work on their boxes. |
This project was a personal one; students were assigned to express an idea visually by covering a wooden box with paper or other materials. They also learned to apply the Principles of Design in their work; Unity, Variety, Contrast, Balance, Repetition, Movement, and Emphasis. Some students created visual memories, while others expressed their personalities through this assignment. The pieces are beautiful!
