We are delighted to enter some of our students' artwork in the Holiday Card Contest sponsored by the Over The Mountain Journal (OTMJ). Every year, the newspaper publishes art from elementary age children. The artwork is chosen based on the child's enthusiasm, creativity, and the craftsmanship of the finished piece.
Our students have been working hard this week designing their holiday cards! Each one is original, unique, and a true masterpiece. Wish us luck! We hope to have lots of artwork published this year (the OTMJ will publish art on December 12)!
We also made card designs to give to our retired friends on December 16 when we visit the assisted living facility. Hopefully, our artwork will brighten someone's day and bring encouragement and love to someone who needs it.
Please be in prayer both for our elderly friends and for the teachers and students that morning, that Jesus will use this time to bring joy and love into their lives. Also, thank you to Mrs. Sapp for organizing the event!
Here are a few more of the designs we submitted to the paper:

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13
