LARRY ALLEN; GUEST ARTIST!
We were honored by a visit from nationally known potter, Larry Allen this February! Mr. Allen is an award winning potter who has been published in numerous magazines and shows in galleries all over the country.
He demonstrated his craft for both elementary and middle school HCA students, talking about his life experiences and explaining exactly how he creates a vessel from start to finish. We were fascinated and very grateful to Mr. Allen for sharing his afternoon with us!
Larry Allen has been interviewed on the show, "That's Clever" as well as our very own "Absolutely Alabama With Fred Hunter." He has won the Best of Show award at the Magic City Art Connection multiple times as well as many other honors and awards all over the country.
